About the Role

A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with company safety standards, follows all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of material at designated facilities. Drivers interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste quality, clean spills, and keep the vehicle clean and ready to minimize downtime. They also complete required productivity and condition reports, meet productivity standards, follow all safety policies, and participate in the ReSOP program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes, loading and compacting waste. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as directed. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Identify, tag, and monitor unsatisfactory waste containers and waste quality. • Clean accidental spills in accordance with safety standards. • Maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning packer blade and truck body each trip. • Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports daily. • Meet department productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies. • Participate actively in the Company’s ReSOP safety program. • Uphold company policies, safety standards, and pride in work. • Use health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in Employee & Family Assistance Program (EAP) and employee discount programs. • Contribute to a 401(k) plan with company match and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brakes endorsement.
