About the Role

The Carpenter Foreman supervises and coordinates Carpenter workers to ensure that work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. The role involves creating sketches of detailed work, planning jobs, respecting timelines, and securing necessary resources. The foreman must possess advanced knowledge of layout, use of simon forms, anchor bolt layout, material takeoff from drawings, and building safety requirements, and will work in plant operations or construction job sites. • Inspect work quality to ensure standards and specifications are met • Assist workers and resolve problems • Enforce company policies and safety regulations • Read and interpret blueprints/sketches and prepare reports • Build and set forms, use level instruments, tie rebar, build scaffolds, finish carpentry, set screeds, install batter boards, and operate hand/power tools • Assist other craft workers as needed • Perform repetitive hand/arm motions and maintain hand‑eye coordination • Operate electric, gas, and pneumatic hand and power tools • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, and scaffolds • Work on uneven, muddy, or loose surfaces; may work in confined spaces and adverse weather • Communicate effectively with management and field workers • Perform math calculations and detailed observations • Make decisions, stay focused amid distractions, and lead teams

What You Bring

The position requires significant physical capability, including lifting up to 50 lb regularly (occasionally 100 lb), repetitive hand and arm use, climbing, and the ability to work on uneven or adverse surfaces and in various weather conditions. The foreman must also operate a range of hand and power tools and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders.
