About the Role

The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical labor on job sites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. The role supports overall project goals and performs a variety of hands‑on tasks across the site. • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures • Complete all required Safety documentation • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to load, offload, push and pull • Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovel or other hand tool • Mix concrete or grout using portable mixer • Position, join, align and connect pumps, motors and other mechanical or metal parts • Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint or stucco through hose to clean, coat or seal surfaces • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices • Grind, sand or polish surfaces such as concrete and steel, using abrasive tools or machines • Perform tasks involving use of hands and tools such as torqueing/tensioning bolts and studs, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing forms from concrete, and demolitions, cleanup, use of jackhammers, etc. • Provide assistance on the site as needed • Perform care and maintenance of assigned tools • Perform physical labor on construction sites

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and six to twelve months of related construction experience, or an equivalent mix of training and work history. They should be able to follow safety policies, read technical documents, perform basic math and measurements, understand force and torque, and execute instructions accurately. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed • Mop, brush or spread paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection • May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice
