About the Role
In this role you will oversee non‑infrastructure wastewater projects with budgets of up to £2 million, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to high standards of quality and safety. The focus is on innovative solutions such as digital upgrades, process optimisation and service delivery enhancements that improve operational efficiency and reduce reliance on external consultants. • Lead and manage wastewater non‑infrastructure projects up to £2 million, aligning with company objectives and regulatory standards. • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and delivery, focusing on digital upgrades, process optimisation and service enhancements. • Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure smooth execution. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and collaboration. • Track budgets and financial KPIs, balancing quality, cost and timeline constraints for sustainable outcomes. • Deliver capital and non‑infrastructure projects within wastewater or utilities sectors, applying NEC or similar contract frameworks. • Manage project finances effectively and develop robust business cases. • Conduct risk management, stakeholder engagement and complex requirement navigation. • Contribute to Southern Water’s £7.8 bn investment plan, supporting resilience, sustainability and service excellence.
