About the Role
The role is based in Cincinnati, OH and is a regular, experienced, salaried exempt position within the Human Resources family. The incumbent will manage the full employment life cycle—recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits—across one or more business units and will supervise HR Generalists/Administrators in multiple locations. • Promote company culture, values, diversity, and inclusion, including anti‑racism learning and employee wellbeing advocacy. • Act as trusted HR advisor, guiding managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance. • Contribute to regional HR goal setting, recommend process improvements, and enhance departmental efficiency. • Deliver an extraordinary employee experience by fostering trust, engaging on‑site, and advising business unit leadership on people‑related matters. • Provide timely performance feedback and participate in annual performance appraisals using talent management systems. • Lead talent acquisition for the business unit, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, and collaboration with headquarters talent management. • Develop sourcing strategies with hiring managers, conduct job application reviews, and perform preliminary candidate screenings.

What You Bring
The position requires regular travel and may involve occasional on‑site work at construction sites, offices, or off‑site venues. Physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to lift up to 10 lb (occasionally 25 lb). The work environment varies from quiet office settings to moderate‑to‑loud construction sites, and the employee must adhere to safety policies. • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years progressive HR experience, plus 3 years supervisory/management experience. • Preferred HR certifications such as HRCI PHR® or SHRM‑CP®. • Experience in construction or large‑scale organizations (10,000+ employees) is a plus. • Strong business acumen, problem‑solving ability, and continuous‑improvement mindset. • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills at all organizational levels. • Self‑starter with advanced HR systems knowledge and project‑management expertise. • Experience engaging with senior leadership and demonstrated supervisory skills. • Intellectual curiosity, lifelong learning attitude, and strong organizational adaptability. • Familiarity with lean culture, continuous‑improvement tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR applications. • Ability to travel as required.
