About the Role
In this hands‑on role, you will lead the electrical portion of engineering projects, determine scope, schedule, and workflow, and act as the primary technical point of contact for construction teams. Responsibilities include developing electrical design packages, performing calculations and studies, specifying equipment, reviewing vendor bids, and ensuring the quality and constructability of deliverables. • Lead electrical portion of engineering projects, determine scope, schedule, workflow, and serve as primary technical liaison. • Develop comprehensive electrical design packages, including load lists, one‑line diagrams, circuit schedules, lighting, grounding, cable trays, underground plans, area classification, and 3D model reviews. • Perform calculations, studies, and produce detailed electrical reports. • Specify, size, and create datasheets for electrical equipment; review vendor and contractor bids and support procurement. • Review engineering deliverables for correctness and constructability; facilitate inter‑departmental RACI coordination. • Provide timely responses to field team inquiries during construction.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least ten years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, three years of leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field, and a professional engineering license. Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving abilities, proficiency with engineering software, and a valid driver’s license are also required. The work environment is a typical office with frequent distractions, and the role demands regular sitting, hand use, and occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 25 lb. Vision requirements include close, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Core competencies include effective oral and written communication, teamwork, ethical conduct, initiative, quality focus, and meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks. • Minimum 10 years of multidisciplinary engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field and a valid Professional Engineering (PE) license. • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency with required engineering software and technology tools. • Valid, active driver’s license with a good driving record.

The Electrical Engineer 4 position is based in Houston, Texas, reporting to the Electrical Director. It is a full‑time, exempt role with a salary range of $124,800 to $161,200, a standard Monday‑through‑Friday 8 a.m.‑5 p.m. workday, and up to 25 % travel. The position follows a standard 40‑hour work week but may require evenings, weekends, or overtime to meet project needs.
