About the Role
This engineering role assists the Engineering Manager by supervising and training Leads/Operating Engineers, developing SOPs for panel allocation, and implementing EPM compliance programs. It ensures continuous operation of all building systems—including fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, and critical environments—while meeting regulatory and safety standards. • Supervise and train Leads/Operating Engineers while developing panel allocation SOPs. • Implement EPM programs, write SOPs, review electrical MOPs, and approve associated JHAs. • Manage reactive work orders within SLA limits and proactively address unassigned orders. • Coordinate vendor activities, conduct quality inspections, and handle defect remediation or escalation. • Conduct regular site, work, and audit inspections; maintain tool/equipment and system inventories. • Issue, close, and inspect work permits including LOTO logs, risk assessments, and hot‑work permits. • Oversee maintenance and operation of electrical, HVAC, fire/life safety, and critical building systems. • Preferred: Develop SOPs/MOPs for building operations and maintenance procedures.

What You Bring
• Strong understanding of NFPA‑70E and use of appropriate Arc Flash PPE. • Experience with electrical, life safety, and fire alarm systems as a subject‑matter expert. • Ability to supervise technical staff, including hiring, training, and personal development. • Proficiency in preventive maintenance prioritization and work order management systems. • Understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance requirements. • OSHA‑10 certification and safety‑training experience. • Preferred: Background in vendor coordination and contractor oversight within building environments. • Preferred: Knowledge of panel load data logging and electrical forecasting systems. • Preferred: Experience with EPM compliance program development and implementation. • Preferred: Critical spares inventory management and procurement processes. • Preferred: Familiarity with EHS record keeping and hazardous materials handling procedures.

The position is onsite in Kirkland, WA, with an estimated annual compensation range of $126,800 to $190,200 and is open only to candidates authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
