About the Role

The intern will assist engineering staff with calculations, data evaluation, design markups, and report writing. Responsibilities also include attending site visits and meetings to capture critical data, researching state and local regulations, coordinating environmental and construction permits, and delivering client or project deliverables. Weston is seeking an Engineering Intern to support a variety of environmental and engineering projects in its Austin office, with the possibility of work in San Antonio, TX. The role requires in‑office, face‑to‑face part‑time hours and may expand to full‑time if project backlog allows. The ideal candidate is passionate about environmental consulting and eager to learn alongside experienced staff. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering or environmental science. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Excel pivot tables; familiarity with CADD is preferred.
