About the Role
The role’s primary purpose is to perform all functions required to fabricate electrical and electronic enclosures. This includes following established procedures and ensuring quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include learning and collaborating across functions to support the fabrication team, actively participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives, and complying with all safety protocols. The employee must maintain a clean and organized workspace, report any equipment or safety issues, and set up production equipment according to SOPs and MOPs. Additional duties involve handling materials, maintaining proper dimensions, performing grinding, forming, welding, spot‑welding, and keeping accurate production and inventory records to meet schedule targets. • Fabricate electrical/electronic enclosures according to SOP/MOP documentation. • Set up production equipment, position materials, and maintain dimensions per print specifications. • Operate and maintain welding, spot‑welding, press brake, and material handling equipment. • Perform grinding, forming, welding, and spot‑welding tasks as part of rotational assignments. • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report hazards promptly. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Record production data and inventory using computer systems. • Meet performance standards to achieve production schedules. • Use appropriate safety equipment such as glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing. • Participate in a 401(k) plan with company match and an employee stock purchase plan.
