About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic you will maintain and repair the trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across the United States, working with modern tools on both diesel and, at some sites, CNG vehicles. • Work at Mesa, AZ hauling‑site repair/maintenance shop • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review/complete/assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain clean, safe work area complying with OSHA standards

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience • Valid driver’s license with clean record • Age 18+ and authorized to work in the United States • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, standing, etc.) with or without accommodations • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Comfortable working independently and in a team • Determined problem solver • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting, balancing • Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, and extreme weather • Work both inside garage/shop and outside in inclement conditions
