About the Role

This full‑time, exempt position is based in the Turner Denver office (not remote or hybrid) and will be posted for 90 days. The Superintendent will plan, coordinate, and direct Self‑Perform Operations (SPO) staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on concrete and general‑trade projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and production goals. The role involves supervising trade labor, managing staffing, and collaborating with the Project Superintendent and General Superintendent. • Sequence and integrate SPO activities into the project schedule in coordination with the Project Superintendent. • Set weekly production targets with trades forepersons, monitor results, and adjust crew assignments to improve productivity. • Track and report installed quantities, percentages of completion, and material deliveries at production meetings. • Assist the General Superintendent/Trades Manager with hiring, termination, and labor sourcing decisions. • Develop and enforce SPO safety plans, providing Job Hazard Analyses for daily pre‑task planning. • Supervise trade forepersons, deliver performance feedback, and contribute to performance appraisals. • Resolve field issues with owners, architects, and engineers, and manage subcontractor payments and material invoices. • Oversee quality control, ensure work complies with contract documents, and verify take‑off accuracy and material procurement. • Apply lean construction methods such as the Last Planner System for proactive scheduling. • Analyze drawings to identify construction constraints and support bidding efforts with productivity assessments.

What You Bring

The position requires at least 10 years of superintendent experience managing concrete scopes, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience), deep knowledge of construction methods, lean principles, contract documents, and proficiency with MS Office and EH&S applications. Physical demands include occasional climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and navigating construction sites with noise, weather, and safety hazards. Turner is an equal‑opportunity employer.

Benefits
