About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Pre‑Construction Field Procurement Manager to serve as the primary procurement liaison for assigned regional offices. In partnership with the HVAC Controls Sales Organization, you will develop accurate installation cost models for premier projects and lead the selection and management of third‑party subcontractors. You will coordinate all operational procurement activities, applying supply‑chain strategies to source subcontract labor while ensuring compliance with internal procedures. The role involves developing cost estimates, negotiating prices, optimizing working capital, and improving communication between central procurement teams and branch offices. • Partner with sales during project development to own subcontract installation pricing • Determine subcontractor strategy and review project scope of work • Use estimating tools to develop baseline subcontract installation pricing • Source and evaluate third‑party subcontractor quotes • Review customer documents to ensure contract provisions for subcontractors • Develop, host, and review RFPs • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has electrical or mechanical controls trade experience, 5‑8 years of project management and estimating in HVAC controls or related trades, and a strong background in procurement and cost analysis. Strong computer skills, excellent communication, leadership abilities, and the capacity to influence decisions across the organization are required. • Electrical industry experience or related bachelor's degree • 5–8 years project management with estimating in HVAC controls or trades • Experience in building systems, design‑build construction, and HVAC (preferred) • Procurement experience focused on construction/HVAC equipment and cost analysis • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages a plus • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to influence decisions
