About the Role

• Partner with operational and project teams to support financial planning, reporting, and performance. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities. • Ensure accurate revenue recognition per policy and accounting standards. • Manage cost control, billing, work‑in‑progress (WIP) and cash‑flow optimisation. • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and controls. • Liaise with internal and external auditors. • Deliver insightful financial reports to aid decision‑making. • Supportive leadership promoting development and collaboration.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join our Energy & Utilities team, supporting a diverse portfolio of large‑scale infrastructure projects across the power and utilities sector. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role partners closely with operational leaders to drive financial performance, deliver meaningful insights, and support strategic commercial outcomes. • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce. • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent). • Minimum 5 years’ project or management accounting experience in a complex corporate environment. • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skills. • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (JDE desirable); familiarity with Power BI or data analytics tools is advantageous.
