About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document them. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Track and manage department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to support their growth. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility. • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Type on a computer for 1–2 hours daily.

What You Bring

The position demands physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb. It also involves frequent movement between departments, covering 6–12 miles daily, and working in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • At least 2 years performing predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles (1+ year). • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field. • Knowledge of MHE safety standards per OEM and safety regulations. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use an aerial lift, and lift up to 50 lb. • Wear required personal protective equipment such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. • Frequent crouching, bending, and reaching to install or move equipment. • Travel between departments and floors, covering 6–12 miles per day. • Clean, cutting‑edge facility and safety‑first culture.
