About the Role

We are hiring a full‑time permanent Employee Relations (ER) Advisor for our UK & Ireland team. The role provides first‑line ER advice and hands‑on case management to People Managers. You will support managers with low to medium risk ER activities such as investigations, grievances, disciplinary and performance management. You will coach leaders on daily people activities, provide policy advice, and act as a knowledge conduit for the HRSS team. Additionally, you will assist ER Partners on project work, medium‑to‑high risk cases, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes supporting legal with DSARs, taking notes in high‑risk cases, and collaborating with HR and operational teams to enhance ways of working. These responsibilities will develop your expertise in complex case management. • Provide timely, pragmatic first‑line ER advice and case management to People Managers across the UK & Ireland. • Conduct investigations, grievances, disciplinary, performance management, flexible working and absenteeism cases (low‑to‑medium risk). • Coach managers on day‑to‑day people activities such as return‑to‑work interviews, OH referrals and letter writing. • Deliver first‑line policy advice and share HR best practices with the HRSS team. • Support ER Partners on project work including redundancies, restructures, TUPE and office moves. • Assist with medium‑to‑high‑risk case management and note‑taking for development. • Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with HR, support functions and operational teams. • Support the legal team with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).

What You Bring

A solid ER casework background, handling high volume in a fast‑paced environment, is essential. Strong knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance and document management is required. We seek candidates who can deliver first‑line policy advice, manage escalations, and prioritize a diverse workload with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication, coaching using the GROW model, and strong IT skills across Microsoft Office and HR databases are also important. • Proven ER casework experience handling high volume in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance and document management. • Ability to deliver policy advice and manage escalations from HRSS. • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and workload prioritisation. • Results‑driven, proactive attitude and ability to lead by example. • Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR databases. • Effective verbal and written communication; experienced in coaching using the GROW model.
