About the Role
The Senior Project Engineer supports field activities and spends a majority of time working with the Project Manager supporting project administration on multiple small projects, or one medium to large-sized project. This position often functions as the “go to person,” and may have supervisory responsibilities for support functions such as Document Control, QA/QC, Project Scheduler, Project Cost Controller, etc. • Submit and approve monthly billings and earned value reports • Manage development of critical path project schedule documents for medium to large projects or multiple small to medium projects • Analyze targets, goals, job cost summaries, and other reports • Collaborate with Superintendent and Project Manager to improve project resources • Review, negotiate, and track change orders • Manage procurement process and provide recommendations to Project Manager • Approve field purchase orders for standard purchase packages • Analyze project financial performance and participate in financial reviews • Support Project Engineering and Quality • Support Project Safety and Risk Management • Oversee work of direct reports • Ensure a safe work environment • Participate in training and certifications • Frequently use hands to handle or feel objects • Regularly sit, talk, and listen • Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms

What You Bring
The Senior Project Engineer will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience or 8 years’ construction experience, or equivalent combination • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Basic understanding of construction software such as Primavera and Timberline • Ability to customize and modify spreadsheets • Ability to maneuver in and out of job site trailers and varied terrains • Exert physical effort handling objects up to 20 pounds
