About the Role
Job Summary: Safely operate a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. Essential duties include operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements while maintaining a clean and safe truck. Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report any unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Attend all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings, and work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and address unsafe accounts. Communicate customer requests, dump containers cleanly, position containers properly, complete customer tickets, and finish all documentation at the end of each route. • Operate heavy‑duty trucks safely on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage immediately. • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations; keep vehicle clean and safe. • Communicate customer requests and issues to dispatch or operations manager. • Dump containers, clean sites, position containers correctly, and submit customer tickets. • Follow daily route assignments and complete all required documentation. • Attend scheduled training, briefings, and meetings.

What You Bring
Qualifications: No formal education or prior experience is required, but a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑B) and a minimum age of 18 are mandatory. Candidates must have an acceptable driving record and successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and motor‑vehicle record review. Real ID: Candidates may need a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel by air or access to federal property, and must be willing to obtain one if required. • Maintain a valid CDL‑B (age 18+) with an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background, and motor‑vehicle checks.
