About the Role
The Coordinator will implement programs aimed at increasing resident satisfaction during renovation and rehabilitation projects. They will communicate with residents about community services, procedures, and any disruptions, and will respond promptly to requests and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner. • Lead resident‑satisfaction initiatives throughout renovation and rehabilitation phases. • Address resident inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution. • Liaise with maintenance, concierge, leasing, and management to coordinate service issues. • Apply AvalonBay policies and ensure adherence to Fair Housing and other regulations. • Utilize Microsoft Office and standard office equipment for daily tasks. • Complete new‑hire orientation and customer‑service culture training within the first 90 days.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid driver’s license and insurance, and have 0‑1 year of multi‑family leasing or customer‑service experience. Strong written and verbal English communication, basic arithmetic, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment. Physical expectations include frequent standing, walking, stooping, and the ability to lift and transport items up to 30 lb, as well as occasional operation of motorized vehicles. New hires must complete AvalonBay’s orientation and customer‑service culture training within the first 90 days, and may receive additional training as assigned. • Deliver clear written and verbal communications, including group presentations and reports. • Meet physical requirements such as frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lb. • Hold a high‑school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, and 0‑1 year leasing or customer‑service experience.
