About the Role
Customer Engagement & Technical Support: Provide support on major projects, including submittals, drawings, and interface with customers and consultants. Voice of the Customer & Product Development: Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product development and ensure alignment with market demands. Review and provide feedback on product literature, technical documentation, and cross-reference data. Focus Areas: Support utility customers across Canada with a focus on power distribution and reliability products, power monitoring, and power control applications. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and technical advancements. • Provide project support, handling submittals, drawings, and customer/consultant interfacing. • Collect and convey customer feedback to guide product development and market alignment. • Review and improve product literature, technical documentation, and cross‑reference data. • Support Canadian utility customers in power distribution, reliability, monitoring, and control applications. • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and technical advancements. • Apply strong problem‑solving skills to turn customer challenges into solutions. • Collaborate with utility standards engineers, electrical consultants, lead engineers, sales and product managers.

What You Bring
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred). 8‑12 years of electrical sales and/or electrical engineering experience. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification. Position Success Criteria: Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate customer challenges into actionable solutions. Demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with utility standards engineers, electrical consultant principals, lead electrical engineers, sales managers, and product managers. Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. French language is considered an asset. Electrical utility knowledge and/or extensive electrical engineering experience. • Hold a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (advanced degree preferred). • Bring 8‑12 years of electrical sales or engineering experience and a P.Eng. designation. • Be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship; French proficiency is a plus. • Possess knowledge of electrical utilities and extensive engineering experience.
