About the Role

As a Senior Occupancy Planner you will foster strategic partnerships with client real‑estate organizations and end users, delivering innovative space solutions and managing occupancy data within workplace programs and strategy frameworks. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data into actionable recommendations, supporting scenario planning and ensuring site‑specific strategies align with enterprise‑wide portfolio priorities. In this role you become the subject‑matter expert for data‑driven workplace programs, driving productivity while modeling superior client relationship management. Your day‑to‑day work includes creating business programming, restack programs, allocation plans, adjacency diagrams, test fits, migration plans and move sequencing for complex projects; using creative and analytical thinking to generate multiple solutions for M&A, rapid growth, consolidations and economic disruptions; aggregating and analyzing data from multiple sources and maintaining accuracy in CAFM/IWMS databases; managing comprehensive occupancy plans, sequencing regional and site moves, and resolving planning issues; recommending and enforcing space policies, standards and procedures; presenting utilization data to leadership, forecasting inventory changes and preparing status reports; and interacting with organizational leaders to reconcile top‑down projections and provide strategic recommendations. • Develop strategic space solutions and occupancy plans for client real‑estate programs. • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations and scenario analyses. • Create business programming, allocation plans, adjacency diagrams, test fits, migration plans and move sequencing. • Analyze and manage occupancy data using CAFM/IWMS systems and coordinate reporting with Space Data Insights teams. • Lead regional and site‑level move sequencing, resolve planning issues, and enforce space policies and standards. • Present utilization reports, forecast inventory changes, and advise leadership on space requirements.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management or a related field, and 5‑7 years of strategic occupancy or space‑planning experience in corporate real‑estate settings. Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD for test‑fit development and experienced with CAFM/IWMS platforms such as FMS, Manhattan, Tririga or Archibus, as well as advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Strong self‑motivation, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, flexibility to adapt to rapid change, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications are a working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office‑design principles and emerging workplace trends, expert‑level data‑analytics and visualization skills, and a background leading cross‑functional teams or change‑management initiatives. Experience with business‑intelligence platforms, advanced space‑planning software, and professional certifications in space planning, facility management or project management is valued. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–7 years of strategic occupancy/space‑planning experience. • Proficient in AutoCAD, CAFM/IWMS platforms (FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, Archibus) and advanced Microsoft Office suite. • Demonstrate strong communication, self‑motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic environments. • Preferred: knowledge of office‑design trends, expert‑level data analytics, cross‑functional leadership, and professional certifications.

The estimated compensation range for this remote position (available in several U.S. cities) is $104,000‑$112,000 per year. This role does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
