About the Role

As a Project Planning Professional you will support the Programme Delivery Leads and Project Controls team to deliver project and portfolio requirements, ensuring overall outputs meet these requirements. You will support the Core Production Delivery Business Units to achieve initial capability, rate capacity and resilience through the product life cycle. You will develop and maintain control account schedules, consolidate P6 planning data, and provide management information, analysis and reporting to the management team. You will ensure best‑practice planning principles are used to create and maintain high‑quality, credible schedules. • Lead planning activities across multiple submarine projects. • Consolidate Primavera P6 data and produce management reports. • Develop and maintain control account schedules for project delivery. • Apply best‑practice planning principles to ensure schedule quality. • Collaborate with engineering teams and external customer stakeholders. • Provide stakeholder management and negotiation within complex organisations.

What You Bring

Required experience includes Project Planning within an Integrated Project Team environment and strong proficiency with Primavera P6, covering resource management, activity coding, global changes and baselining. Strong Project Management experience with understanding of the project lifecycle, resource and cost management, planning and programming is essential. Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate within a complex organisation are also required. To work for Rolls‑Royce Submarines you must hold a Security Check clearance; we will support the application if needed. Applicants must be UK nationals or, in MoD‑approved cases, dual nationals.
