About the Role

Read and interpret wiring schematics, drawings and bills of material. Build components of standard and engineered-to-order products using hand tools, torque drivers, and pneumatic tools. Work from manufacturing information such as Kanban cards, MI's requisitions, and oral or written instructions. Perform set-ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance when required to ensure peak performance of all manufacturing equipment. Ensure quality criteria are met by review of documents, conscientious assembly, and proper use of the quality verification checklist. Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment. Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards. Be involved in performing Lean initiatives. • Interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material • Assemble standard and engineered-to-order components using hand, torque, and pneumatic tools • Follow manufacturing instructions from Kanban cards, requisitions, or written/oral directions • Set up equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance • Verify quality using documentation and checklists • Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards • Participate in Lean initiatives

What You Bring

Minimum of one year assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Overtime is very active at this facility, and candidates must be able to work OT hours. Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Able to move material using handling carts (push/pull 50 lb) and lift/carry up to 50 lb. Be a team player, collaborate effectively to complete work assignments per customer orders, and show willingness to participate in training opportunities. • At least one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment • Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts • Strong oral and written communication skills • Capable of moving and lifting up to 50 lb using material handling carts
