About the Role

The Business Development & Marketing Analyst supports the BD+M team by conducting research and business development activities. Working in a dynamic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment, the role emphasizes independent decision‑making, focus under deadline‑driven conditions, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities. The analyst reports directly to the Business Development Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include leveraging market intelligence tools to monitor competitors and industry news, developing target client profiles, and providing routine briefings to management. The analyst collaborates with BD Leads to identify growth opportunities, maintains the company’s business pipeline database, and tracks new project opportunities through GovWin and other procurement platforms. Additional duties involve monitoring industry events, researching government capital budgets, participating in networking events, and leading the creation of client proof statements and value propositions. • Research competitors, industry news, and develop target client profiles using market intelligence tools. • Conduct sector and industry research on market trends, upcoming projects, potential clients, and competitors. • Identify new growth opportunities for service lines in partnership with BD Leads. • Maintain and update the business pipeline database; generate and present analytical reports. • Track and share new project opportunities via GovWin and other procurement platforms. • Monitor industry events and conferences; optimize ROI with marketing and BD leads and capture post‑event intelligence. • Research capital budgets for federal, state, and local agencies and assist in capture strategy development. • Participate in industry networking and professional organization events. • Lead the planning and writing of client proof statements and company‑wide value propositions.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of corporate or business experience, with a preference for government contracting exposure, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or Marketing. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and market‑intelligence tools such as Deltek GovWin, and the ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple projects while collaborating across all organizational levels. • Minimum two years of corporate/business experience; government contracting experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or Marketing. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and market intelligence tools such as Deltek GovWin. • Ability to set priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate across all organizational levels.
