About the Role

• Develop project strategy with directors and execute within C&W and client. • Manage project cost, schedule, risk, scope; create charter and execution plan. • Drive scope and contractors to meet schedule and cost objectives. • Organize people and resources within office/department. • Implement plans and provide construction cost‑benefit analysis. • Oversee project implementation through construction completion; ensure operational readiness. • Prepare RFQs/RFPs for vendor and contractor services. • Review subcontract proposals, pricing, and scope. • Negotiate contracts and manage performance of vendors and consultants. • Audit and validate contractor cost estimates. • Create and maintain Master Project Schedule; track performance against critical path. • Guide client and team through design, procurement, and construction phases. • Lead client‑facing project meetings. • Manage due diligence, programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, procurement, team selection, budgeting, scheduling, contractor and vendor selection, sustainability, and post‑construction services. • Oversee capital improvement programs across multiple sites. • Maintain extensive interaction with client staff and internal customers. • Utilize PDS technology for assigned projects. • Report project, internal, and client issues impacting reputation to manager/market lead. • Identify and address potential liabilities and risks, informing manager/market lead. • Support senior leadership in establishing and refining best‑practice standards.

What You Bring

The Senior Project Manager, Life Sciences, Project & Development Services, leads project setup, implementation, and execution through construction and qualification phases. The role supports the PDS Market Lead and senior leadership by refining best‑practice standards and protecting the firm’s reputation. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills are required, along with the ability to lead and mentor team members. A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, business administration or a related field is required, with at least ten years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess advanced project‑management expertise, client‑relation and contract‑negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in the construction industry are essential; life‑sciences or high‑tech manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $153,000 to $180,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health‑savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. Compensation varies based on factors such as geographic location, collective bargaining status, and individual experience, and will never be below minimum wage.
