About the Role
• Assist in developing pavement designs and specifications, and attend site meetings and workshops. • Manage projects from inception to completion as experience grows. • Conduct pavement design, material specification, construction supervision, sustainability, carbon reduction, asset management, and research. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on local and international projects. • Participate in AECOM’s Graduate Development Programme, receiving mentorship, training, and support toward chartership.

What You Bring
Graduates are paired with an experienced engineer who provides guidance and mentorship while they work on live projects. Early tasks involve assisting with design and specification development, attending site visits, meetings and workshops with clients and design professionals. As they progress, graduates take on increasing responsibility for managing projects from inception through to completion, covering pavement design, material specification, construction supervision, sustainability, carbon reduction, asset management and materials research. Candidates should hold a BEng in Civil Engineering (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) and preferably have experience with pavement design, material specification, asset management and research. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills to engage clients, colleagues and stakeholders. The role also requires enthusiasm, ambition, good report‑writing ability, effective prioritisation, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. • Hold a BEng in Civil Engineering (2:1 or equivalent) with knowledge of pavement design and materials. • Demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills and effective written and verbal communication. • Show enthusiasm, drive, and ability to prioritize and work both independently and in a team.
