About the Role
The technician assists in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, delivering service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities include general repairs on compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, testing systems with electrical or mechanical skills, maintaining accurate work records, processing job tickets, supporting equipment installation, handling minor construction projects, and safely operating a company vehicle. Additional duties are assigned by management as needed. • Assist in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment • Perform general repairs on compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices • Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions • Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical skills • Maintain accurate work and service records • Process job tickets and work orders promptly • Support equipment installation by picking up, delivering, and installing cases • Execute minor construction and startup tasks for new installations • Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and possess EPA certification. A minimum of three years of commercial refrigeration experience is required, with a strong preference for work in convenience stores or supermarkets and familiarity with single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes. Applicants should have a good driving record, be able to work independently, be on‑call for emergencies, lift up to 60 lb, and sustain standing or sitting for several hours.
