About the Role
The Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations leads collections activities across commercial, residential, roll‑off and container services within a geographically dispersed division. Reporting to the Operations Manager and General Manager, the supervisor oversees drivers and helpers, implements tactical initiatives, and ensures budget achievement while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory and ethical standards. Key responsibilities are organized around safety, customer experience, efficiency and employee engagement. The supervisor drives safety programs, removes unsafe conditions, partners with maintenance, and promotes a culture of safety. They ensure customers receive reliable service, resolve issues promptly, and work to exceed productivity goals by optimizing routes and managing labor and disposal expenses. Additionally, they foster a collaborative team environment, develop talent, and support employee career growth.
