Job Highlights
About the Role
The position follows a normal Monday‑Friday full‑time schedule, with occasional weekend travel, and requires site‑to‑site movement across landfills, recycling facilities, and other operator sites in the Upper Midwest (ND, SD, MN, WI, MI, IA). As a Traveling Lead Heavy Equipment Operator, you will work at various facilities serving over 20 million customers, operating bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders while adhering to strict safety procedures and contributing directly to the efficiency of our waste‑disposal operations. • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintain accurate records • Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment • Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance • Take accountability for adhering to safety guidelines • Occasionally handle objects less than 30 pounds
