About the Role
The Installer II reads and interprets installation specifications, designs floor‑plan layouts, power distribution, backup supplies, and cabling for central office equipment. Responsibilities include identifying needed parts, creating detailed specifications and equipment requirements, updating location records, drawings, bills of materials, and installation notes, and reviewing all installation specifications. • Read and interpret installation specifications for construction projects • Determine floor‑plan layouts, power distribution, backup power supplies, and cabling • Identify and request parts for low‑ and high‑level racking, transmission, power, lighting, and grounding • Create comprehensive installation specifications and equipment requirements • Update location records, drawings, bills of materials, installation notes, and memos • Review and verify installation specifications • Maintain safety protocols and complete work with high quality standards • Solve complex technical problems using a hands‑on approach • Perform long‑term projects and travel 100% across North VA, DC, and MD • Operate power tools, lift up to 50 lb, and work from ladders up to 8 ft • Communicate clearly with customers and team members, including presenting information

What You Bring
Ideal candidates are safety‑focused, produce high‑quality work, and enjoy hands‑on problem solving on long‑term projects. Entry‑level experience (up to one year), a high school diploma or GED, basic hand‑tool skills, the ability to lift at least 10 lb (often up to 50 lb), and willingness to travel extensively in North VA, DC, and MD are required. Strong communication, trainability, time‑management, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. • Manage time effectively while on customer sites • Be trainable, coachable, and able to learn customer specifications and standards
