Operator

About the Role

The Operator works at a recyclery, landfill, or transfer station, operating equipment such as excavators, compactors, bulldozers, forklifts, front‑end loaders and other machinery. The role includes completing pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, keeping windows, lights, mirrors and cameras clean, and continuously monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime. The Operator also performs minor servicing, cleans tracks or wheels, completes equipment condition reports, and reports needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance shop.

What You Bring

A valid training certificate for the equipment operated is required, and candidates must have at least two years of equipment‑operation experience.
