What You Bring
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Civil Engineer with at least six years of experience to join its Land Development team in Baltimore, Maryland. This on-site role involves site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers, designers, jurisdictions, and contractors while building professional relationships. • 6+ years of relevant engineering design experience. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or obtain within 12 months). • Proficient in site civil design, permitting, and software such as hydrology modeling, storm drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. • Experience with task management, concept design, and supporting project management. • Skilled at client coordination, attending meetings, and ensuring quality standards. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Ability to produce plan sets and construction documents. • Design expertise in utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.
