About the Role

The Quality Supervisor will lead the quality assurance function for our switchgear manufacturing, ensuring products meet stringent safety, performance, and customer requirements. The position partners closely with Production Supervisors and cross‑functional teams to embed quality into daily manufacturing practices and to support new product introductions and process validations. • Supervise and develop Quality Technicians, set daily priorities, and lead team meetings. • Oversee in‑process and final inspections to ensure compliance with customer specs, IEEE, NEMA, UL, and internal procedures. • Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation. • Manage non‑conformance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Collaborate with Production Supervisors, Engineering, and Shipping to address quality issues in real time. • Support new product introductions and validate manufacturing processes. • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase first‑pass yield. • Maintain and update quality management system documentation and procedures. • Prepare quality metrics and reports for Plant Manager and leadership. • Support internal and external audits, including ISO and customer audits.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience. • At least five years of quality experience in manufacturing, with two years in a supervisory role. • Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and industry standards (IEEE, NEMA, UL). • Strong understanding of quality systems, SPC, and Lean manufacturing principles. • Proven ability to act as a change agent using data‑driven problem solving. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
