About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the complete on‑site operation of a housing community. This role includes overseeing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing guidelines. In this position the manager leads staff performance, develops budgets, monitors rent collections and vendor invoicing, and implements strategies to maximize net operating income. They also design marketing plans, drive leasing activity, handle resident concerns, and coordinate retention programs while maintaining accurate administrative and maintenance reporting. • Supervise on‑site staff, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management. • Drive net operating income by controlling costs, optimizing leasing revenue, and preparing annual budgets/forecasts. • Create and execute yearly marketing plans; lead leasing activities, resident retention programs, and handle resident concerns. • Oversee administrative and maintenance functions, ensure accurate reporting, manage vendor invoices, and respond to property emergencies. • Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, fair‑housing laws, OSHA standards, and risk‑management guidelines. • Maintain property appearance through regular inspections, timely repairs, and coordination of construction or rehabilitation projects.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree or extensive housing‑industry experience is preferred) and may hold CAM or ARM certification. Benefits

Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, complemented by a total rewards package that includes health benefits, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, and performance bonuses.
