About the Role

The night auditor is responsible for auditing daily revenue, reconciling accounts, generating reports, processing reservations and deposits, and performing front‑desk duties while providing exceptional hospitality. • Follow audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identify and correct out‑of‑balance issues • Ensure all charges are posted correctly to guest folios or master accounts with supporting documentation • Reconcile charges to the general ledger, prepare backup files, and close out shift and day on the reservation system • Generate housekeeping reports and print departure folios • Compile daily revenue reports and file them appropriately • Calculate month‑end account balances and submit to accounting • Process reservation advance deposits, including receipt, deposit, and logging of monies • Perform all front‑desk duties such as check‑in, check‑out, and cashier procedures efficiently • Assist guests and owners with needs and requests, delivering outstanding hospitality • Complete departmental typing tasks and any additional duties assigned by management
