About the Role
The Senior Customer Support Specialist provides exceptional service and waste support to clients, acting as the primary escalation point for inquiries, order processing, correspondence, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of customer needs. • Deliver outstanding service to internal and external clients via phone, email, or in person. • Mentor junior staff and provide escalated support for complex issues. • Coordinate office services such as data entry, clerical work, records control, form creation, and report preparation. • Assess new waste profiles, input data into the system, and manage supporting documentation. • Prepare shipping documents and manifests using correct DOT hazardous material descriptions. • Serve as point of contact for Sales, Operations, and Customer Support Management. • Investigate billing discrepancies, process adjustments, and manage invoicing and collections. • Provide quotes, schedule, and organize trucking for efficient waste transportation logistics. • Evaluate pricing sheets based on location, customer type, and regional market to accurately price waste for disposal.

What You Bring
The role requires 4–7 years of progressively responsible, customer‑facing experience—preferably in waste disposal, chemistry, or related fields—and a commitment to active listening and problem solving. The position is fully remote, works MST 8‑5, and offers a pay range of $20.35–$30.55 based on hazardous waste (ES) experience. Candidates must possess advanced knowledge of RCRA laws, waste characterization, DOT regulations, and basic accounting processes, along with strong analytical abilities, teamwork skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF tools.
