About the Role
The technical department seeks to maximise cost‑effective product manufacture, maintain quality levels that meet commercial and customer requirements, and provide high‑quality technical support to commercial, operations and external customers. • Perform sampling, field testing, and specimen preparation for concrete, asphalt, recycled and quarry products according to British standards. • Investigate, document and communicate quality issues across sites, including feedstock segregation and product consistency. • Provide high‑quality technical support to commercial, operations and external customers. • Review water demand, site practices and truck delivery issues; raise NCRs and near‑hits as appropriate. • Lead, mentor and develop Quality Control Technicians and other team members. • Challenge unsafe behaviours and uphold a safety‑first attitude.
