About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all operations of an on‑site housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager and handling personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk‑management functions to ensure compliance with company policies and fair‑housing guidelines. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance issues. • Drive net operating income through cost control, leasing improvements, and budget/forecast preparation. • Develop and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, manage resident complaints, and implement retention programs. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response, and ensure timely maintenance, inspections, and property appearance. • Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, fair‑housing laws, OSHA requirements, and risk‑management guidelines. • Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and responding to emergencies on nights and weekends. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.

What You Bring
The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and responding to emergencies on nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as reliable transportation for on‑call duties. • Education/experience: High School diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1‑2 years housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred.
