About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the Finance Data Hub, defining the architecture and standards for finance data assets across Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. The role will shape the blueprint for end‑to‑end data flows, ensuring a unified, scalable, and reusable foundation for analytics. You will own the roadmap for the Snowflake‑centric Finance Data Hub, implementing medallion/lakehouse patterns that align enterprise bronze and silver layers with domain‑specific gold layers. Responsibilities include designing and governing the semantic layer—creating curated datasets, star schemas, and row‑level security—to deliver a single source of truth for Power BI reporting. Key technical duties involve establishing repeatable ingestion and transformation patterns with Azure Data Factory, enforcing DataOps guardrails, and optimizing Snowflake warehouses for performance, reliability, and cost. You will embed security and compliance controls, drive AI data readiness, and advance federated data governance, quality scorecards, and lineage practices. The role also requires mentoring architects, engineers, and data stewards, codifying reusable patterns, and operationalizing CI/CD pipelines for data and BI artifacts. Collaboration with platform, security, and analytics teams will be essential to harmonize lakehouse ingestion, reporting, and machine‑learning workloads, and to define test strategies, validation criteria, and design sign‑offs. • Lead design and implementation of the Finance Data Hub architecture across Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. • Define and manage medallion/lakehouse patterns (bronze, silver, gold) for scalable finance data. • Create and govern the semantic layer with curated datasets, star schemas, and row‑level security. • Establish repeatable ingestion and transformation pipelines and enforce DataOps best practices. • Optimize Snowflake warehouses for performance, cost efficiency, and >99 % availability. • Embed security and compliance controls including RBAC, RLS, encryption, and SOX considerations. • Drive AI data readiness by incorporating metadata, quality, lineage, and governance checkpoints. • Mentor and coach architects, engineers, and data stewards, promoting reusable patterns. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data assets and Power BI deployment. • Collaborate with platform, security, and analytics teams to align ingestion, reporting, and ML workflows. • Define test strategies, validation criteria, and ensure design sign‑off with stakeholders.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience, plus 8‑10 years in data architecture/engineering with finance‑grade assets. Candidates must have 5+ years of dimensional modeling, 3+ years hands‑on with Snowflake, ADF, and Power BI, and deep knowledge of data mesh, medallion lakehouse, governance, security (RBAC/RLS, SOX), and AI risk frameworks. • Possess 8‑10 years of data architecture experience, 5+ years in dimensional modeling, and 3+ years with Snowflake, ADF, and Power BI.
