About the Role

The Project Delivery Manager – Construction will coordinate and schedule construction and facilities projects at key client sites in the Orillia area, ensuring multiple projects can be delivered concurrently without conflict, providing technical oversight on building systems, and serving as the primary contact for issue resolution among project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include coordinating site‑based projects from BGIS, Colliers, the client, or Infrastructure Ontario; maintaining project schedules and clearly communicating sequencing; tracking changes or delays that affect site operations; managing issue and risk resolution; applying technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; supporting planning and execution with minimal disruption; and monitoring compliance with quality and operational standards. The role also requires close collaboration with on‑site operations teams to align project work with daily facility needs, providing input on operational risk during construction and retrofit activities, representing the site in stakeholder discussions, delivering clear updates on schedules, risks, and progress, and ensuring client expectations are met for overall satisfaction. Reporting duties involve maintaining a master project plan for the high volume of complex projects, updating documentation, issue logs, and schedules, contributing to client reporting requirements, and supporting information gathering for performance and quality reviews. • Coordinate and schedule multiple construction and facilities projects at Orillia client sites, ensuring no conflicts. • Serve as primary contact for issue resolution, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems and escalating to internal teams or vendors. • Provide technical oversight, assess project challenges, and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards. • Liaise with on‑site operations to align project work with daily facility needs and mitigate operational risks. • Communicate schedules, risks, and progress updates to stakeholders, maintaining client satisfaction. • Maintain master project plans, issue logs, and documentation for a high volume of complex projects. • Commit to diversity, inclusion, and providing accommodation during the recruitment process.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or construction project coordination, strong organizational and scheduling abilities, practical knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required, and a Project Management Institute accreditation is preferred. • Demonstrate 3‑5 years of facilities management or construction coordination experience with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook; PMI accreditation preferred.
