About the Role
The Driver/Operator position involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck to complete assigned transfer routes. The driver must operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining a clean and safe truck. Daily duties include performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions, incidents, or service needs to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Drivers participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings, work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, and assist fellow drivers as needed. At each customer site, drivers fully dump containers, clean the area, correctly position containers, and complete required documentation such as customer tickets and end‑of‑day check‑ins. • Operate heavy‑duty truck following OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and document issues on DVIR forms. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or service needs promptly to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address safety concerns. • Assist fellow drivers and handle customer requests as directed. • Dump containers, clean work sites, and position containers properly on customer property. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage and complete all route documentation.

What You Bring
Applicants need no formal education or prior experience, but must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. Candidates must successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record. The position may require travel by air or access to federal property; therefore, candidates must possess a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
