Cleaner, On Call- Nights

About the Role

The Cleaner works on an on‑call night schedule under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor for C&W Services. The role involves performing a variety of custodial duties in accordance with C&W Services' established standards, instructions, and procedures. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces, operating commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas, and spot‑cleaning or shampooing rugs as directed. The Cleaner also dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, door trim, light fixtures, and performs high‑dusting, washes interior glass, windowsills, and entrance doors, and maintains bathroom cleanliness and supplies. Additional tasks involve collecting and disposing of building waste, replacing liners, monitoring fixtures for defects, and clearing snow from entrances and walkways.
