Desired qualifications include additional expertise in civil/structural engineering, knowledge of NESC, ASCE, IEC, IEEE and other codes, proficiency with MS Office and transmission-line design software (e.g., PLSCADD, PLSPOLE, PLS TOWER), and the ability to produce complete design packages, cost estimates, and construction specifications. Experience mentoring junior staff, conducting site visits, and managing project schedules are also valued. • Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems. • Thorough, timely, and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Should be able to understand and create transmission line drawing packages.
