About the Role
The Fire Officer – Property and Asset Management role is responsible for overseeing fire safety at a site. You will use assigned apparatus and follow command‑structure instructions for fire suppression and related emergencies. Key duties include setting up fire equipment, dispatching and accompanying the Emergency Response Team, planning and executing fire‑safety evacuation drills, conducting rescue and firefighting operations, securing structures, maintaining equipment inventories, supporting pre‑fire planning, liaising with government authorities, and keeping detailed records. • Set up fire equipment upon arrival at a scene. • Dispatch and accompany the Emergency Response Team. • Plan and execute fire and life‑safety evacuation drills and training. • Conduct rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations. • Identify trapped individuals and secure their rescue. • Perform periodic lift evacuation and rescue drills. • Secure structures to prevent rekindling after suppression. • Inventory and record all equipment post‑incident and complete incident reports. • Participate in pre‑fire planning studies and keep plans updated. • Liaise with government authorities for NOC renewals. • Maintain fire equipment maintenance, training checklists, and records. • Report to the Fire Safety Manager or Property Manager.

What You Bring
We seek analytical and meticulous candidates who ensure fire and life‑safety systems function effectively and can determine appropriate equipment needs. Required qualifications are a Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with a strong knowledge of modern fire suppression and emergency medical service principles. • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety. • Possess 3–5 years of relevant fire safety experience. • Knowledge of current fire suppression techniques and emergency medical services.
