About the Role

The engineer will work closely with design and drafting teams to generate chiller layout concepts and system configurations, create engineering documentation, and execute test programs to verify performance and reliability of electrical and mechanical components. They will also analyze test data, provide design input, and communicate findings to engineering teammates, managers, product management, and business leaders. Key technical responsibilities include applying regulatory codes such as UL, CE, PED, and ASME, incorporating manufacturing process considerations into designs, reporting project status, and driving continuous improvement within a global product development environment. • Contribute to product design, testing, data analysis, and project management. • Initiate and execute design changes to support manufacturing. • Generate chiller layout concepts and system configurations with design/drafting teams. • Produce and compile engineering documentation and technical records. • Prepare and run test programs for electrical and mechanical component performance. • Review and analyze test data to inform design decisions and troubleshooting. • Apply UL, CE, PED, and ASME regulatory codes in product design. • Incorporate standard manufacturing processes into design methodology. • Report project status and promote continuous improvement in a global team. • Communicate technical information clearly to engineering peers, managers, product management, and business leaders.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a BS in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and have at least five years of experience in a design and product development setting. Preferred expertise includes electrical engineering concepts (motors, controls, wiring) and a strong background in refrigeration systems and components. • Hold a BS in Engineering (ABET accredited) with 5+ years of relevant experience. • Possess knowledge of electrical engineering (motors, controls, wiring) and refrigeration systems (compressors, heat exchangers).
