About the Role
The Managing Director provides senior leadership for Cushman & Wakefield’s Project & Development Services team within a defined market or region. This role is accountable for client relationships, financial performance, operational excellence, and people leadership, while ensuring best‑in‑class delivery of complex capital projects. The Managing Director partners closely with leadership to strengthen Cushman & Wakefield’s market position. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of strategic objectives for the team and serving as executive sponsor and trusted advisor to key clients. The role provides executive oversight of complex capital projects such as tenant improvements, build‑to‑suit developments, and capital programs. It also owns financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, and ensures consistent application of delivery standards and risk management practices. Additionally, the Managing Director leads, mentors, and develops senior project management teams and leadership. • Lead implementation of strategic objectives for the Project & Development Services team. • Act as executive sponsor and trusted advisor to key clients. • Oversee complex capital projects, including tenant improvements and build‑to‑suit developments. • Manage financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight. • Ensure consistent application of delivery standards and risk management practices. • Mentor and develop senior project management teams and leaders. • Maintain professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE. • Exhibit core competencies in client advisory, strategic planning, and talent development.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field, with a Master’s preferred. Candidates must have 15+ years of progressive experience in project management, development, or construction leadership. Proven success in leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams and managing complex client portfolios is essential, as is strong financial acumen for contract negotiation and P&L responsibility. Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE are preferred. Core competencies include executive client advisory and relationship management, strategic planning and business growth leadership, and financial management with risk governance. The role demands expertise in complex project delivery and operational excellence. Talent development and organizational leadership are also critical capabilities. • Possess 15+ years of progressive project management or construction leadership experience. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred. • Demonstrate strong financial acumen and contract negotiation skills.

Benefits
The compensation package offers a salary range of $187,000 to $220,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits program covering health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Compensation varies based on location, experience, collective bargaining agreements, and other eligibility factors, with a guarantee of at least minimum wage. • Receive a salary range of $187k‑$220k with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
