About the Role

WSP is seeking a Vice President of Quality and Audit to lead quality strategy and execution for a U.S. business line. This role translates enterprise quality priorities into practical actions that support project delivery, strengthen client confidence, and protect margins. The role utilizes insights from audits, assessments, client feedback, and operational data to drive targeted improvement efforts and allocate resources where quality engagement yields the greatest impact, while supporting an integrated HSEQ culture alongside the Business Line Health and Safety Lead. • Partner with the U.S. Quality Director and Business Line leaders to convert HSEQ priorities into risk‑based actions. • Serve as the primary Quality liaison, building trusted relationships to understand portfolio risks and client needs. • Lead Business Line Quality activities to enhance governance and execution without adding unnecessary burden. • Develop, implement, and continuously improve national quality procedures, tools, and the Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001. • Conduct Drop‑In Assessments and internal audits, interpret results, drive corrective actions, and analyze trends. • Provide insightful quality reporting to inform leadership decisions and guide improvements. • Support high‑risk project reviews, proposal pricing, and monthly project reviews with targeted quality engagement. • Coach project teams on quality planning, review discipline, and effective Project Quality Plans. • Identify training needs and deliver quality induction and targeted training with Operations and Project Delivery. • Promote an integrated HSEQ culture by early identification and escalation of emerging quality risks.

What You Bring

• Required: 12+ years progressive experience in engineering/project delivery or quality management, senior‑level partnership experience, deep risk and quality planning knowledge, audit leadership, executive presence, bachelor’s degree, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. • Preferred: HSEQ certifications, ISO 9001/14001/45001 audit experience, ISO certification support, membership in ASQ or IOSH, experience in large matrixed organizations, and Power BI/reporting expertise.
