About the Role
The role emphasizes strategic and creative thinking, allowing you to lead design teams, develop emerging talent, and introduce innovative design processes. You model an interdisciplinary approach, working closely with team members across the office to promote design quality and cultural excellence. • Lead interior design assignments from programming through design development. • Provide strategic design leadership and support for project organization and execution. • Create 3D models and renderings using Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Produce interior architectural plans, elevations, details, specifications, and schedules. • Coordinate with consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to meet design and budget goals. • Mentor junior designers and guide multiple projects collaboratively. • Cultivate client relationships, especially with a large tech client, and contribute to firm initiatives.

What You Bring
As a Gensler Designer you combine creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to shape functional, beautiful spaces for clients. This position is based in Houston, Texas and is in‑person. Candidates in the area or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply, and a current portfolio or work samples in PDF format must be submitted. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field and 8+ years of experience. • Demonstrate expert proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, graphic software, and FF&E design. • Possess LEED accreditation (preferred) and strong communication, presentation, and iterative design skills.
