About the Role

• Conduct pre‑negotiation due diligence on projects, parcels, property owners and occupants, and negotiate acquisition of rights and relocation of displaced parties for public or private projects. • Coordinate right‑of‑way and utility issues for assigned clients. • Support real property projects through property assessments, risk analysis, rights acquisition, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination, and utility relocation/coordination.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include at least two years of experience in real estate, right‑of‑way, title, utility coordination, relocation, or property management, the ability to work independently, strong communication and documentation skills, and familiarity with federal, state and industry regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, NEPA, FERC and the Uniform Relocation Act. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project is required, and the role demands flexibility, travel availability, and effective collaboration with clients, property owners and occupants. Preferred qualifications are an AA degree or equivalent experience, a real‑estate license in good standing, database and GIS familiarity, experience with plan reviews and Uniform Act‑compliant acquisitions, property‑management experience for a DOT or municipality, and the ability to become pre‑qualified with TDOT within three months.
