About the Role
The Road Mechanic performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on customer‑site equipment, striving to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location but typically includes aerial work platforms, construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑ and‑gas equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards while working in remote or challenging environments. • Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in remote locations. • Develop skills for a career track in service or operations management. • Provide own mechanic tools of trade when required. • Apply knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues.

What You Bring
• Possess a high school diploma or GED; trade‑school training is a plus. • Bring 1–2 years of experience with diesel, heavy‑construction, or specialty equipment. • Hold a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations. • Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be required based on location. • Prior experience as a mechanic, technician, foreman, manager, or diesel/hydraulic specialist is valuable.
