About the Role
The role focuses on operating a variety of kitchen equipment safely, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring accurate daily logs for food temperature and cleaning schedules. • Organize and complete all meal prep; ensure dishes meet the highest standard. • Stock food serving areas appropriately, focusing on quality, appearance, and waste reduction. • Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, maintaining proper temperatures and times. • Prepare, serve, and clear the resident steam table/tray line as needed. • Maintain food rotations in storage to minimize spoilage and waste. • Operate food service equipment safely and per policy. • Follow sanitation and safety principles for food, work areas, and equipment. • Record prepared products on daily kitchen logs, including temperature and cleaning schedules. • Interact with customers and employees courteously, efficiently, and friendly. • Clean kitchen, utensils, and equipment thoroughly.

What You Bring
Applicants will be required to undergo a Canadian Criminal Background Check, and only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
